**When quoting, paraphrasing or using partial quotes, you must use in-text citations.  Since the book is written by one author and it is a single work, you only need to use page numbers. 

 EX: 'Why is it,' he said, one time, at the subway entrance, 'I feel I've known you so many years?” (362).

·         -Make sure you include a thesis and parallel blueprint in your opening paragraph. 

·         -Use transitional statements

·         -Your textual evidence should be embedded.  (DO NOT SUMMARIZE AFTER      

                  YOUR EVIDENCE, ANALYZE!!!)

·         -Include page numbers

·         -Create and turn in your outline at the END of your paper
